Cigar Club Veteran's fundraiser Dec 4, 2009 (Albuquerque)
Hello Angels,
With winter weather just around the corner, our New Mexico Veterans are is in need of warm clothing: gloves, scarves, coats, blankets and jackets for our vet are needed.
I have been working with a Cigar Club in Albuquerque on a fund raising event that will benefit our New Mexico VA Hospital. There will be a couple of aspects to this event. We will be selling tickets: these will be to come to the Club and there will be finger foods, drinks and looks like live entertainment (each one coming in will probably be getting a cigar to enjoy while they are there as well). We are also going to be having a silent auction.
We will be needing Angels to help gather donations for the auction, sell tickets, spread the word, post flyers and be there to lend a helping hand. Any SUGGESTIONS would be awesome.

Operation Outreach is gearing up for our 2nd annual Adopt a Military Family for Christmas.
Our goal is to help military families with much needed Christmas presents for their children
along with a Walmart gift card for the family to purchase their holiday dinner and trimmings.
Last year Operation Outreach connected 300 families with our wonderful Angels who
purchased Christmas presents and sent a food gift card to a family.
Soldiers' Angels would like to continue this caring Adopt a Military Family tradition this year.
